Dr. Pete’s particular practice interest is diagnostic medicine. He has over 30 years of experience which has provided him the opportunity to diagnose thousands of medical and health conditions in small animals. This experience has shaped and sharpened his skills to know what tests to perform and, more importantly, when they are needed.A Little History
Dr. Pete Edquist is a 1979 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine. He practiced as an associate veterinarian in his hometown of Lake Jackson, TX until 1985. At that time, he and his wife, Kathy, moved to the Lake Travis area and founded Lakeway Veterinary Clinic.
Pete and Kathy moved to the Blanco area in 2001. They sold their interest in the Lakeway practice in 2004. Pete continued to work in the Dripping Springs and western Travis County area until March of 2012, when he founded West Side Veterinary in Dripping Springs.
